A Shake Shake Copycat

Picture from  nycgo.com
Shake Shack, I'd say one of the best burgers in the world. But can you really make one of these mouthwateringly-delicious burgers at home? I think so.
Ingredients
  • 12 ounces medium fat ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 4 Potato Sandwich Buns
  • 4 tablespoons Shack Sauce (recipe follows)
  • 4 leaves of green-leaf lettuce
  • 8 slices ripe plum tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil (or Olive oil)
  • Kosher salt and ground black pepper
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • Worcestershire sauce for cooking (optional)
Sauce Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 4 slices kosher dill pickle
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Pinch cayenne pepper

Directions
  1. Form the meat into 2" by 2" burger patties
  2. Brush the buns with a little butter and place into the toaster until desired crispiness
  3. Spread some sauce onto the insides of the bun
  4. Oil a skillet and season the burgers with salt and pepper and Worcestershire (if desired)
  5. Cook the burgers until the outside has become brown (around 3 minutes)
  6. Flip the burgers and melt the American cheese on top
  7. Put the burgers on the buns and top with lettuce and tomatoes
  8. Enjoy.
